Home of ‘THE NAKED GARDENERS’ Ian & Barbara Pollard
(dressed for visitors except on pre-arranged ‘clothes optional days’ please see Events page for details)

With over 10,000 different plants this is a ‘must see’ garden for ideas, yet a visit is calming and soothing. There is a special atmosphere, especially in the river gardens and probably the best flower display throughout the Seasons that you could find.  One visitor recently remarked that, “This is a garden that gives you a hug from the moment you enter and which you leave, slowly, with a smile on your face.” So if you need to:

.......escape the pressures of daily living .......get back in touch with your inner self.......be inspired.......
.......find time to unwind in fresh air
.......enjoy some gentle exercise in beautiful surroundings.......
.......meet up with friends & relatives in an easily accessible place
.......

Don't miss our fabulous display of over 2000 roses out now in their first glorious flush of bloom

Why not go to our Visit Us page for images throughout the season and a virtual tour of the garden?

We're very pleased to have featured in the Heart of a Garden; a newly released double DVD, narrated by Richard Briers, and accompanying photographic book showcasing 16 glorious gardens across the South West.
